The story behind Saffron&Scribe and my journey as a calligrapher
Hello, I'm Sanam
Welcome to Saffron&Scribe! My journey into the world of calligraphy began over 10 years ago when I received a calligraphy set as a gift. What started as a hobby quickly blossomed into a passion that I couldn't ignore.
With a background in fine arts and a love for intricate details, I found myself drawn to the meditative practice of forming beautiful letters. There's something magical about taking a blank piece of paper and transforming it with thoughtful strokes and flourishes.
I officially launched Saffron&Scribe in 2023 after creating calligraphy for a friends's wedding and receiving numerous requests from friends and family. Since then, I've had the honor of working with many couples to add a touch of elegance to their special day.
When I'm not at my desk with a pen in hand, you can find me gardening, exploring local markets, or spending time with my family and our dog, Teddy (yes, named after my favorite president Theodore Roosevelt!).

Design & Sample
I create initial designs or samples based on our consultation. For envelope addressing, I'll send you a sample for approval. For custom pieces, I'll provide sketches or mockups.
Creation
With your approval, I begin the careful process of creating your calligraphy. Each piece is handcrafted with high-quality materials and meticulous attention to detail.
